Examples of Synchronicity
- You are suffering with financial difficulties, yet money for basic expenses such as rent, food, and utilities, always manifests. You begin to trust this. At first you thank the universe or god, then you realize you create this abundance. You are learning to watch how you manifest and why, watching yourself from outside the box.
- You have just received your last check from unemployment when suddenly a job comes along.
- You walk into a book store not knowing what to buy, and the book you need falls from a shelf and practically hits you over the head.
- You have been feeling ill with no clear diagnosis. You meet someone who knows a doctor or healer with the answers. All physical problems stem from emotional issues. Your soul will point out the patterns and hopefully the solutions. When the person is ready to heal, the doctor will be there. That person will often show up by synchronicity. This all stems from various levels of depression and self-sabotage stemming from one's DNA or life experiences that have worn them down. When you are confused and in emotional pain, you either have trouble manifesting synchronicities or they are major learning lessons.
- There is a sudden relocation which seems to be for one reason, but later you find much more than you bargained for as the synchronicities rapid occur as if a domino effect. For example, you relocate for a new job, then, as if by synchronicity, someone 'special' comes into your life. You and that person have attracted each other for experience, as all life is nothing more than that. In another case, the energies of the area hold something transformational for you, which is perhaps the reason your soul created the move in the first place.
- You finally end a bad relationship and immediately another partner comes into your life as if by synchronicity.
- You drive to a place where parking is "next to impossible" and someone pulls out of a parking spot or it is waiting for you.
- You meet someone who interests you and touches your soul. Through synchronicity that person seems to come into your life over and over again. You begin to feel a destiny with that person. You begin to think with your heart instead of your head. You connect with that person. In some cases the karma between the two people is positive but in many cases you have attracted that person into your life for a learning lesson whether you are aware of it or not.
- You feel depressed and can't find focus in your life. The next person you talk you says something that brings needed guidance. In a world of wounded souls, and evolving consciousness, answers to help and guide will come more quickly and from different sources than in your past. Learn from those who come along, but never become co-dependent.
- A well-known example of synchronicity involves the true story of French writer Emile Deschamps. In 1805 he was treated to some plum pudding by Monsieur de Fontgibu. Ten years later, he encountered plum pudding on the menu of a Paris restaurant, and wanted to order some, but the waiter told him the last dish had already been served to another customer, who turns out to be Monsieur de Fontgibu. In 1832 Emile Deschamps visited a restaurant with a friend and is once again offered plum pudding. He recalled the earlier incident and told his friend that only Monsieur de Fontgibu is missing to make the setting complete. At that moment a senile Monsieur de Fontgibu enters the room by mistake.
Synchronicity has been proposed as a corollary phenomenon of the many-worlds or parallel universes theory of quantum physics, in that the subject is somehow 'navigating' to those particular alternate worlds that are correlated to their past history, among the myriad possible other worlds that are not as correlated to their past history. Although this idea has made it into the popular press, it is considered pseudoscience by most scientists as the parallel universe theory states that all possible futures exist simultaneously, therefore the subject indeed lives out all possible futures in parallel.

SYNCHRONICITY : How to Prepare Yourself
The Subconscious Mind
We all know we have a subconscious, but for most of us, our knowledge of it ends there. Your subconscious mind is a second, hidden mind that exists within you. It interprets and acts upon the predominating thoughts that reside within your conscious mind, and its goal is to attract circumstances and situations that match the images you have within.
We reap what we sow.
Think of your subconscious mind as incredibly fertile soil that will grow any seed you plant in it. Your habitual thoughts and beliefs are seeds that are being constantly sown. Just as corn kernels produce corn and wheat seeds produce wheat, the contents of your thoughts will have an effect in your life. You will reap what you sow; this is a law.
Your conscious mind is like the gardener that tends to the soil. It’s your responsibility to be aware of how this process works, choosing wisely what reaches the inner garden — your subconscious. For most, our role as gardener has never been explained. By not knowing this role, we have allowed seeds of all types – good and bad – to enter our subconscious.
The subconscious doesn’t discriminate, judge, or censor. It will manifest success, abundance, and health just as easily as failure, ill health, and misfortune. Your subconscious accepts what is impressed upon it with feeling and repetition, whether these thoughts are positive or negative. It does not evaluate things like your conscious mind does. This is why it is so important to be aware of what you are thinking.
Once you understand that your subconscious will bring you what you need or desire, and you begin working daily to project thoughts and images of what you want, seemingly chance-events will start happening to you. To the untrained mind, synchronicity appears to to be coincidence or luck, but it is neither. It is simply the operation of the forces you have set into motion with your thoughts. This powerful inner collaborator, working with your conscious mind, will bring to you the people and circumstances you require to achieve your goals.
We are all part of the greater whole.
Modern physics sees the universe as a vast, inseparable web of dynamic activity. Not only is the universe alive and constantly changing, but everything in the universe affects everything else. At its most primary level, the universe seems to be whole and undifferentiated, a fathomless sea of energy that permeates every object and every act. It is all one. Scientists are now confirming what mystics and seers have been telling us for thousands of years: we are not separate from, but part of one greater whole.
We now know that everything in the universe is made up of energy. Everything from the items in your home, to the events that happen to you, and even our thoughts are made up of vibrations of energy. This means our thoughts are made of the exact same substance as the building blocks of the universe. Knowing this, we can use it to our advantage.
In the past, it might have seemed unbelievable that we could create our reality through this process. But now we know how to do it, and why it works. Since our thoughts are energy, it only makes sense that repeated images, affirmations, deeply held beliefs, fears and desires would have an effect on our own reality by vibrating within the larger web of reality. In fact, if we are all connected, how could it be otherwise?
We live in an immense quantum sea of vibrating energy that is responsive to how and what we think. Our thoughts are creative forces and are constantly expressing themselves in our lives. Once we realize this, we can begin designing our lives with clarity and purpose.
So how can we use this reality in our lives? By focusing daily on what you desire. The Mind Power system consists of easily learned techniques that help you focus and direct your thoughts, and the first technique you’ll learn is visualization.
What is visualization?
Visualization is simply a mental rehearsal. You create images in your mind of having or doing whatever it is that you want. You then repeat these images over and over again, daily for about five minutes a day. In your five-minute practice, use your imagination to see yourself being successful in whatever goal you may have.
What you focus on, you attract.
The key to visualizing is to always visualize that you already have what you desire. This is a mental trick. Rather than hoping you will achieve it, or building confidence that one day it will happen, live and feel it as if it is happening to you now. On one level you know this is just a mental trick, but the subconscious mind cannot distinguish between what is real and what is imagined. Your subconscious will act upon the images you create within, whether they reflect your current reality or not.

Affirmations are statements that you say either out loud, or quietly to yourself. By doing this, you affirm to yourself whatever it is that you desire. For example, if you have an important interview coming up, you could affirm to yourself that you will have “a great interview”.
Why Mind Power affirmations work :
When you verbalize something and repeat it to yourself, it will influence your thoughts. This is why affirmations are successful. If you say to yourself, “I will have a great interview”, you will automatically begin thinking about your upcoming interview as a great interview. What you focus on, you attract so begin using affirmations to focus on what you desire.
There are three rules to remember when using affirmations :
1. Always affirm the positive.
Avoid asking yourself, “What if it’s a terrible interview?” or thinking things like, “I’m so nervous”. These statements focus on the opposite of what you want. Be positive, and use words that reflect what you want to happen. If you want to be confident, use that word in your affirmation.
2. Make your affirmations short and simple.
Use a short phrase, or one sentence at the most. Your affirmation should be like a simple mantra that you can repeat over and over again, without thinking.
3. Don’t force yourself to believe it. Just say it.
You don’t need to force yourself to believe your affirmation, simply repeat it over and over and it will naturally have an effect on you. Repeating the statement many times will cause it to work for you.
Affirmations are simple, easy to use, and very powerful. Many professional athletes use them to perform well. Successful business people use them to close deals and run their businesses, and artists use them to be creative and come up with innovative ideas. You can use them too, in any area of your life.
They say nothing succeeds like success, and it’s true. Success vibration acts like a magnet that attracts success and opportunities to you. When you think and feel success, you vibrate with success energy and act accordingly.
People who are already successful have momentum on their side; the law of attraction is already working for them. They attract even greater success because of the nature of their predominant thoughts. The success vibration is a great asset to someone who is already successful. If you are not yet successful, there’s no need to worry. There are many Mind Power techniques you can use to create a success vibration. One of them is the technique of acknowledging.
How are you successful?
This technique begins with searching for areas of your life where you are already successful. Unfortunately most of us are quicker to see our own failures and shortcomings than we are to acknowledge our success. To create a success vibration you must change this self-deprecating habit and become success-focused.
Examine your personal qualities and present situation and find things to feel successful about. Are you a good friend to someone? Are you positive? Are you generous? Do you dress well? Are you a safe driver? You are not limited to a narrow definition of success such as someone who is rich, famous, and good-looking. There are literally hundreds of other aspects of your life that are equally important; the key is to find aspects that help us feel successful in our own lives. This is one way to create a success vibration.
Create a success vibration and you’ll attract success.
Start by creating an acknowledging list. Your list can be either general or specific. For example, let’s say you’re an entrepreneur building your business. You might make a specific acknowledging list that highlights the qualities you possess which will help you succeed in that role, such as: I’m a good communicator, I have great people skills, I’m a great leader, etc. By focusing on this list you are building a specific success vibration. The same principle works whether you’re closing a multi-million-dollar deal, getting an entry-level job, or finding the perfect partner.
Eliminating Negative Thinking
We already know that what you focus on you attract. Worry, fear, and negative thinking allow the mind to focus on things you don’t want, so Mind Power teaches you to eliminate negative thinking. Train your mind to think about what you want in life, and avoid thinking about what you don’t want. Negative thinking drains your energy and is counterproductive; that is why fear is so destructive and why despair and hopelessness must be avoided. They work in the opposite way that Mind Power does.
So how do we eliminate this negative thinking? The first step is to recognize the importance of eliminating negative thoughts, and the second step is to be aware when negatives are happening to us.
You can’t avoid negative thinking entirely. Sometimes negative thoughts just pop into our mind. When this happens, we must be aware, so that we immediately recognize when we are thinking negatively. When we catch ourselves thinking negative thoughts we can use any of these techniques:
Change the negative thought into a positive one.
If you’re worried and focusing on what could go wrong in a situation, change your thoughts to what could go right. Your mind can only think one thought at a time, so changing the negative into a positive eliminates the negative.
Remind yourself: a negative thought is just a negative thought.
A thought has no power other than what you give it. Negative thoughts gain momentum when you think them over and over again. So stop thinking them.
The key is to catch the negatives before they have time to become entrenched. With practice you will notice right away when you are thinking negatives, and you then can take the appropriate actions. The mind is a creature of habit, so encourage positive thoughts and eliminate negative ones.

How to Manifest Synchronicity
Coincidences are most powerful when you let them happen. With all that said, let’s dive a little bit deeper and look at how to manifest synchronicity and serendipity in everyday life.
When you’re doing what you’re supposed to do (yes I think we set goals before we come into this world), the universe will help you and show you that you’re on the right path.
If you’re heading in the wrong direction you’ll get subtle clues. First of all, you’ll feel bad. How bad depends on your situation. If you’ve been working a job you hate for 10 years you might feel pretty miserable.
Learn how to find your passion and start taking action, consistently. Begin by taking small steps. It can be as simple as spending one more minute every day doing something you enjoy.
In the last year, as I’ve started to discover my purpose and take action, the coincidences in my life have increased exponentially.
If you’re unaware of what’s happening, you will never notice any coincidences. Awareness can be expanded in many different ways. Meditation is the tool that has worked the best for me. Experiment and find out, we’re all different.
If you are able to be in the present moment, then that is all it takes. Focus on your breathing, feel your body and be deliberate in whatever you do. There is no rush.
The first time I noticed an expansion in my awareness was when I was walking down the road and I suddenly noticed new trees and houses. I heard the birds and really noticed the people walking up and down the street.
A big part of learning how to manifest synchronicity and coincidences is letting go of your desires. If you’re constantly trying to bring something into your life, you’ll fail, because you’re putting out a vibration of need and lack.
If you’re in a mode of wanting, you’re telling the universe that don’t have whatever it is you’re wanting, which means you’re visualizing or feeling lack, whether you’re aware of it or not.
There are several ways to release your desires. Below is a video on one of the ways that I do this. This also works magnificently for releasing fears, anxiety, and other thoughts and emotions.
If you want coincidences to happen, you have to trust your intuition and inner guidance. Sometimes you’ll feel the urge to go and rent a movie, which will give you the exact answer you need.
All of these things may not happen instantaneously, so allow time for them to manifest. Just by being aware of them and setting the intention that you want more synchronicity in your life will get the ball rolling.
But you have to be realistic. I’ve seen so many people tell me that it doesn’t work and when I ask them what they want, they almost always tell me things like “1 million in the bank so I can follow my passion and help people.”
This will only work if you resonate with getting money internally. Most people do not, because in reality, you do not need money to do what you love. It’s just another excuse.

Common explanations for the origins of synchronicity
This includes the following :
- Unconscious mind. Just like your dreams, elements of your waking life could also be subtle manifestations of your unconscious mind which is trying to warn you, guide you or teach you about something.
- Harmony of energy. As everything consists of tiny vibrating atoms, or energy (which is a fact), synchronicity could also be a manifestation of inter-global or environmental harmony, where the frequencies and vibrations of the moment sync together in perfect equilibrium, or Oneness, producing such experiences.
- Law of attraction. This theory essentially states that whatever good or bad events in life happen are caused by your thoughts and feelings. Thus “like attracts like”, which possibly explains the origins of synchronicity.
- Psychic abilities. Synchronicity is also thought to be a small manifestation of psychic abilities where, for example, we intuit that a certain person will call us or significant event will befall us, and it does.
A Message in Disguise
Have you ever thought that perhaps the synchronicity you experience in your life is a message in disguise? Whether you are a skeptic or not, I encourage you to take action like I did, and see where you are led.
Welcoming synchronicity into your life is simple, and includes :
Awareness. Practice alertness and pay attention to the present moment.
Openness. Maintain an open-minded outlook towards synchronicity. This will enhance your receptibility towards such experience.
Humility. Sometimes what you desire or think is best for yourself is not. Learn to have a very loose hold on your desires. In this way you won’t be imposing yourself on life, but you will allow life to impose itself on you.
Trust. Trust that synchronicity will appear in your life, and trust the still, small voice within to follow it when the time or situation feels right. When you learn to trust yourself, you also learn to trust life.
Listen. Listen to what your gut is telling you – your unconscious mind is vast and limitless. Doors are being opened for us all the time, and when we listen to our instincts many of these doors freely present themselves to us.

Creating Synchronicity in Your Life

I believe that everything happens to us in our lives on some level as a result of our own making. On some level, either knowingly or unknowingly, we attract our destiny to ourselves.
While I believe we can’t always control what happens to us, I believe we can control how we choose to respond or react to whatever happens to us, and that makes all the difference.
When we take “response ability” for everything that happens to us, we maintain power and control and come from a place of empowerment. Accepting “response ability” is not about accepting blame or fault for what happens. It simply means that we accept what has happened and choose to respond, not by blaming others or ourselves, but rather with the most appropriate action that will positively move us forward.
Don’t Give Up Your Power
On the effect side of the equation, you have your reasons and your excuses for why your life is the way it is:
“I can’t make more money because my company won’t promote me.”
“The house is a mess because my teenagers won’t listen to me.”
“I can’t be happy because my husband is out every weekend without me.”
“I’m not valued at work because the boss doesn’t like me.”
If you remain “at effect” that’s the same as giving up your power or control. This can be a very negative and disempowering way to live your life.
Do you wish to continue to argue for and support your limitations? Wouldn’t it be more empowering to take control of your life and start creating more synchronicity in order to move towards a more compelling positive future?
7 Tips to Positivity:
Here are 7 tips to help you maintain a positive “response ability” and to move in a synchronistic way towards more positive outcomes…
1. Accept your current situation
Accepting your current situation doesn’t mean you have to agree with it or live with it. It simply means you acknowledge where you are presently. Think of it as a starting point. When you accept where you are without blame or excuse, it necessitates taking action.
2. Look for opportunities
It has been said “when one door closes another one opens”. Doors are being opened for us all the time. We need to be observant and open-minded to notice the potential opportunities that are there for us.
3. Treat events and disappointments as life lessons
There is no failure only feedback. Every experience we have in some way moves us forward. Either through learning what not to do, or by supporting us in getting closer to our desired outcomes. Learn from your experiences. Ask yourself the following question—What do I need to learn from this event?
4. Be curious about who you cross paths with
I’m always curious about who I meet and cross paths with. What do I need to learn from them? What am I here to teach them? How can they help me? How can I help them?
5. Accept personal responsibility for change
Your desire and willingness to change is up to you, just as my desire and willingness to change is up to me. If you wish to change your current situation, you have to be willing to first change yourself. There’s no magic solution. You are in charge of your results.
6. Set clear intentions
Be clear about your expectations and outcomes. Then let go of the “how” and prepare yourself to be amazed at what unfolds for you. So often, we want to map out all the steps and get stuck when we come across an obstacle in our path. Keep the focus on your goals and intentions.
7. Create synchronicity
Creating synchronicity is an inside job. Recognize that you have the power to create synchronicity in your life. It starts with your thoughts, your feelings, and ultimately, your actions. Success equals right thinking plus right action!
Synchronicity is the coming together of two or more events at just the right time and place. Some people might call this coincidence. When you set your intention for a positive outcome and stay open to opportunities, you are opening yourself up to tremendous possibilities. You have all the resources you need to succeed and the power to achieve your desired outcomes.

7 Steps To Invite Synchronicity Into Your Life

Here are seven steps you can take to awaken and activate synchronicity in your life:
1. Be open to receive the wisdom of each moment as it unfolds.
Synchronicity reveals an underlying pattern in the universe, a large guiding framework that organizes our lives.
2. Know what you want and set the intention.
Having a clear idea of what we want to create in our lives and what we want our lives to be like, encourages synchronicity.
The seventh insight in the Celestine Prophecy states, "Knowing our personal mission further enhances the flow of mysterious coincidences as we are guided toward our destinies."
Synchronicity can hint at our life path and remind us of where we are headed, or even guide us to change direction. Synchronicity brings us relationships and love. There are so many stories of mysterious coincidences that bring two lovers together.
3. Shift your energy.
Synchronicity is an energy. Change your energetic or vibrational frequency to reflect the feeling or "reality" you wish to embody. For instance, if you want to feel more love, be more loving.
Changing our frequency will change the people we attract into our lives as well. We are all communicating with the field of energy around us — who we are being and how we are feeling directly affects this field.
4. Be in service of the people in your life and all of humanity.
The eighth insight says, "We can increase the frequency of guiding coincidences by uplifting every person that comes into our lives." It is our responsibility to others to be awake and aware of the potential of each moment to touch and help another.
5. Let go and let the magic happen for you.
I have found that synchronicity occurs when I am feeling more than just "doing" — I'm more "in the zone" in terms of awareness and consciousness.
Synchronicity requires being relaxed; it cannot be willed or forced.
Expanding our awareness within the infinite sea of consciousness, is tapping into possibility. When you access this field of energy — call it the universal field or the divine matrix — you are tapping into a field which is loving, abundant, and in which nothing is impossible. Stress or unease breaks our natural communication with this field.
7. Embrace the mystery.
Synchronicity is about being awakened to the infinite possibilities available to us within the divine matrix of perception. Have fun with it, embrace it, and let it flow to you like the pure water of a spring. Allow the mystery to unfold.
